 6/30/08 - 4.5 weeks old - Out for some play time - Puppies are eating puppy food now and will be weaned by the end of the week. They have been playing with birds and love them. They have the shiniest coats that feel like silk. |

 06/23/08 - 3.5 weeks old The pups have had their 1st road trip to Angola, IN, they didnt mind the drive at all. They have started on softened puppy food and milk replacer. Mom likes it better than they do. They have also moved to their new puppy play pen, which helps keep them much cleaner. They weigh between 3 to 3.5 lbs. |

6/16/08 - puppies now have their playpen attached to their whelping box so they have more room to walk around. They are all doing great, all have their eyes open and are growing like weeds. |

6/9/08 - puppies weigh between 1.1 and 1.6 lbs, all are doing very well. They are starting to bark a little and you can see the slits of their eyes starting to open. |

Our dogs come from very strong hunting lines. They are not only excellent hunters but their ancestors are also, which has a definite impact on the abilities of a new puppy. Just because you have a great dog doesn't mean he/she will produce a great litter of pups. All of our breeding dogs are OFA, HEART and CERF certified. We breed for bird drive, health and temperament.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home, socialized daily and are introduced to upland birds. Weather permitting, when the pups are around 5 weeks old we take them to Brandywine Creek and let them play in the water. We stand behind all of our puppies with a written guarantee for hips and eyes. Our puppies are wormed, have their tails docked and dew claws removed and receive their 1st puppy shots before going to their new homes.
