2005 Fun Hunt |
Below are some of the pictures taken at the 2005 6th annual Fun Hunt. The hunt was sponsored by Brandywine Creek Boykin Spaniels, J&L Boykin Spaniels and Blue Chip Kennels. 25 dogs participate in water retrieving and an upland bird hunt. Any dog that completed 2 water retrieves and flushed and retrieved 3 birds was awarded a completion ribbon. The event was held at Glenns Valley Conservation Club 12 miles south of Indianapolis, IN and was attended by 28 Boykin Spaniels, 3 English Cockers, 4 Labs and 2 English Setters and one Poodle (Tootsie). An HRC training demonstration was held on Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. Saturday was filled with lots of great weather, bird hunting, HRC training and an eye CERF Clinic. We want to thank everyone who attended and made the day a success and to Jim Keeker for sharing all his years of training experience with us. Also to the Boykin Spaniel Foundation for sponsoring the CERF eye clinc. |
